Make a social clip
Render a 3 to 60 second video clip of the exact mix, with artwork, a waveform or lyrics, ready to post.

This guide is for artists, managers and labels making content from a song. A clip uses the exact version you choose, and VYNLT records where it came from.
Make a clip
- Open the song and choose the Clips tab. Or open a version's options (⋯) and choose Create social clip….
- Pick the Song · version and the Range: a clip is 3 to 60 seconds and ends before the song does.
- Choose a Format (for example vertical for stories) and a Background: the artwork, a moving waveform or the Lyrics.
- Tick End with a small VYNLT tag if you want it.
- Choose Render clip.
What you'll see
- RENDERING… while it's being made, then the clip in the list.
- Download saves the video. Share… opens your device's share sheet.
- Provenance shows the song, version and the clip's checksum.
VYNLT doesn't post to social accounts for you. Download the clip and post it yourself.
Common problems
- "No timed lyrics in this range." Add line timings in the Lyrics tab, or choose another background.
- "Couldn't render this clip". Try again. If it keeps failing, choose a shorter range.
- The Clips tab is missing. Your role doesn't allow clips. Ask a manager.
