Sharing
Send it without letting go of it.
Private links for named people outside the team. Every recipient signs in with their own account, streaming only by default, with passwords, expiry and view limits. They see only what you shared, downloads are a deliberate choice, and every open is logged.
What does the recipient get?
Switch the settings and read the answer in plain words.
How it works
- 01Choose a song, a project or a playlist to share.
- 02Add the email address of each person, then pick the controls: password, expiry, view limit, download or not.
- 03Send the link. They sign in with that address, or create a free account. You’re notified when it’s opened.
- 04Revoke it whenever you like. It also stops working if you lose access yourself.
- STREAM-ONLY
Not the master
Recipients hear AAC or Opus streaming copies through signed URLs that expire in minutes.
- ACCOUNTS
Named, signed-in recipients
Every link names its recipients. Each opens it signed in with that address; nobody listens anonymously. They never join your workspace.
- PASSWORD
Locked after 10 guesses
Wrong passwords lock the link for 15 minutes, regardless of where the guesses come from, and you’re alerted.
- DOWNLOADS
A permission and a confirmation
Downloadable links need the right role and a fresh confirmation that it’s you.
- LOGGED
Opens and downloads
Every open and download is recorded in the organization’s audit history.
- LIVE
Always the current mix
Song and project links play the current version, so you don’t send a new link for Mix 21.
Questions
Can recipients comment?
Only if you turn on notes for the link. Recipients then leave timestamped notes from their own account, and see only their own. For full discussion on the waveform, invite them with the Commenter role.
What if a link is forwarded?
Nothing plays. A link opens only for an account with an address it was sent to, so someone else who receives it sees a sign-in page, then a refusal. Revoke it at any time and access ends on the next request.
Does the recipient need an account?
Yes, a free account with the address you shared with. It’s theirs: it doesn’t join your workspace or see anything you didn’t share.
One home for every song.
