VYNLT Desktop
Your studio, connected.
Export from Logic, Pro Tools or Ableton. VYNLT catches it, names it and tells the team. Keep the projects you choose synced on your computer, offline included.
Keep making music
We’ll handle the versions.
Pick a name, press Bounce, and answer one question. That’s the whole workflow change.
Bounce as
~/Music/Hayati/Bounces
- Hayati Mix 19.wav
- Hayati Mix 20.wav
NEW MIX DETECTED
Add as Mix 20?
Hayati · Bounces/Hayati Mix 20.wav
VYNLT Desktop waits until the file has stopped changing, then asks once. It never auto-dismisses.
Choose ADD and Mix 20 becomes CURRENT. Harris J, Karim and Amira are told it’s ready.
- SELECTIVE SYNC
Choose what lives on this computer
Pick workspaces or single projects, each as two-way, download only or upload only. Everything else stays in the cloud.
- WATCH FOLDERS
Your Bounces folder, watched
Point it at Bounces/ or Exports/. DAW caches, freeze files, peak files and Audio Files/ are ignored automatically.
- EXPORT DETECTION
Waits until the file is finished
An export counts only once its size and timestamp stop changing and it can be opened. Half-written bounces never upload.
- NAMING
hayati_final_final_v7.wav becomes Mix 20
Mix, master, demo or v plus a number is read from the file name, and the next number in sequence is proposed.
- OFFLINE
Works on a plane
Uploads wait in a durable queue that survives restarts and lost Wi-Fi, then resume where they stopped.
- TRANSFERS
Chunked, resumable, verified
Every chunk and every file is checked with SHA-256. Downloads are verified before they replace anything.
- CONFLICTS
Your edits are never overwritten
If a file changed on your computer and in the cloud, both are kept: yours as a clearly named conflicted copy.
- NOTHING DELETED
Local deletions stay local
Removing a file from your computer never deletes it from the cloud. Removed files go to a local trash for 30 days.
Folders you recognise
A plain folder, organised by song.
The sync folder uses the same layout as every backup, so it makes sense in Finder or Explorer without VYNLT open.

Questions
Which DAWs does it work with?
Any DAW that exports audio files to a folder: Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper and others. VYNLT Desktop watches the folder, not the DAW, so there is no plug-in to install.
Does it upload my whole session?
No. It watches the folders you choose (by default Bounces/ and Exports/) for WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, M4A, AAC and CAF exports. Session files, samples and caches are left alone.
Can I stop it asking every time?
Choose AUTO-ADD on the prompt and future exports in that folder are added as new versions automatically. You can turn it off again per folder.
Where is my sign-in stored?
In the operating system’s keychain: macOS Keychain, or a Windows DPAPI-protected file tied to your user account. The local control interface only listens on your own machine and refuses requests from web pages.
One home for every song.
