Keep every song in VYNLT Cloud, on your computer and in your own cloud. Three locations, one source of truth, each copy checked against the original.
Verification
VERIFIED means checked.
Every original gets a SHA-256 checksum when it is uploaded. Copies are compared against it, stored originals are re-checked on a daily sample, and restores are verified file by file.
Try signing one location out. The other two stay VERIFIED, and the problem is stated in one line.

| Sync | Keeps chosen projects the same on your computer and in VYNLT Cloud. New files you drop into Versions/, Masters/ or Stems/ become new versions. Deleting locally never deletes in the cloud. |
| Backup | Copies every song to storage you own, automatically. Removed songs are retained in the backup. Changes on your side are never overwritten; they become conflicts you resolve. |

Modes
Backup
Push only. Songs removed in the app stay in your copy.
Mirror
Push only. Removed songs move to a dated trash folder in your copy, never deleted.
Two-way
Push, and import new files you add to Versions/, Masters/ or Stems/ as new versions.
Manual export
Runs only when you press it.
Schedules: immediately after changes (with a 6-hour safety sweep), hourly, daily or manual. Large files resume where they stopped.
Questions
Is my own cloud the source of truth?
No. VYNLT Cloud is. Your computer and your cloud are independent copies with their own health. If your Google Drive is unavailable, playback, sharing and your desktop copy carry on.
What access does it need to my Google Drive or Dropbox?
The narrowest available: Google Drive drive.file (only files it created), a Dropbox app folder, and a OneDrive app folder. It cannot read the rest of your drive.
Can I rebuild my library from a backup?
Yes. Each project folder has a manifest.json listing every version, stem and checksum. A restore re-creates the projects and verifies every file against the manifest before importing it; mismatches are rejected.
What happens if I edit a file in my Dropbox copy?
It is never silently overwritten. The app’s copy is written beside yours as a conflicted copy, and a conflict appears for you to resolve: keep ours, keep yours (as a new version), or keep both.
