Version control
Every demo, mix and master keeps its number in one history per song. Exactly one is CURRENT. Nothing is silently overwritten, and nobody has to ask which file is current.
Pick a version to see who made it, when, what it was uploaded as, and what changed.

Notes
Each upload is stored byte for byte with its SHA-256. Originals are never modified by processing.
CURRENT is a recorded pointer, not a guess from dates or names. You can set any version as current.
Uploading bytes that already exist as a version is caught, so the history doesn’t fill with copies.
Each version carries notes from whoever uploaded it: “Vocal up 1.5 dB from 01:38.”
Numbered separately, so Master 01 is the first master, not the forty-first file.
FINAL_FINAL_V7.wav is remembered as what it was uploaded as, beside the clean version name.
Yes, all of them. A new version never replaces an old one. You can archive versions to tidy the list and restore them later.
Yes. Set any version as current; the change is recorded in the song’s activity.
They belong to the song (and optionally a version), with their own labels. See stems.
