Organization security, audit history and support access · Help

This guide is for owners and admins of a studio or label organization. Open Settings → Organizations, choose the organization, and use the tabs below. Most of these need the Admin or Owner role, and some depend on your plan.

Security Center

Security Center shows what's set up and what's still TO DO, plus:

Emergency controls for a lost laptop or a leaked link: Sign everyone out and Revoke all share links. Each asks you to confirm it's you and is recorded in the audit log.
Check a leaked file: found a copy online? Upload it, and VYNLT listens for a recipient watermark and checks it against your recordings.

Open Sign-in policy.
Tick Require two-factor authentication so every member must set up an authenticator app or passkey.
Tick Require passkeys for admins & owners for phishing-resistant sign-in. You must be signed in with a passkey yourself to turn it on.
Set Re-confirm identity for sensitive actions after to choose how often people confirm it's them.
Choose Save policy.

The table below shows each member's 2FA, Passkey and whether they're Compliant.

Set Links expire after at most, Only invite and share with these email domains, which storage can be connected, and Keep deleted items for (how long the Trash keeps things). You can also allow or stop fan releases and Live sessions here.

Guests and access reviews

Guests lists people outside the organization with access to a workspace or project, who invited them and when they were last active. Under Guest access policy, guest access can end on its own, with reminders first.
Access reviews: choose Start an access review, pick Members only or Guests only, then decide keep or remove for each person. Removals are applied when you complete the review, and a report is kept.

Audit log

Audit log records sign-ins, sharing, approvals, master changes and admin actions. Filter it with All actions. Each entry is linked to the one before it, so changes to the history can be detected.

Support access

VYNLT support can't open your organization unless you allow it. If you need help inside it, an admin can grant time-limited access under Support access, and end it at any time with End now. Requests from support show here: choose Decline if you don't want them.

Single sign-on and SCIM

Single sign-on (SAML or OIDC) and SCIM provisioning are available on request for Label organizations. Email hello@vynlt.com to set them up.

Encryption with your own key

Encryption with a key you manage (KMS) is available on request. Email hello@vynlt.com.

Common problems

A member can't access anything after I required two-factor. They need to set up an authenticator app or passkey. If they lost theirs, choose Reset two-factor next to them on Members.
I can't turn on "Require passkeys for admins & owners". Sign in with a passkey first.
Revoking all share links by mistake. Revoked links can't be turned back on. Share again with the people who need it.
