Open music someone shared with you
For listeners: open a share link, create a free account with the right email, enter a password if there is one and leave notes.
Available on Listener · Artist · Producer · Studio · Label
This guide is for people who have been sent music: A&R, managers, collaborators, friends and test listeners. You don't need to pay or join anyone's workspace. You need a free VYNLT account with the email address the music was sent to.
Open the link
- Open the link from the email.
- Choose Sign in to listen, or Create free VYNLT account if you don't have one. Use the same email address the link was sent to.
- If the link has a password, type it into Password.
- If the link needs two-factor, choose Set up two-factor. You come straight back to the music afterwards.
- Press play.
Everything people have sent you is listed under Shared with me.
Leave notes
If the sender allowed it, you can leave notes at a moment in the song. Pause where you want to comment, type your note and choose Send note. Only you and the sender's team see your notes, with your VYNLT name.
Ask for access
If a link wasn't sent to your address, you can choose Request access and add a note. You get an email and a notification when the sender answers.
What you'll see
- Streaming only · Protected by VYNLT, or Downloads allowed if the sender allowed downloads.
- Some links play a copy that is watermarked for you.
